The Desktop and Web Merge

It seems the new trend is to combine the new web services, now dominating the web, into one website application that resembles a desktop. Hence, the new term ‘web desktop’ that’s floating around. Take for instance, eyeOS, an open-source web desktop application. This is just one, of countless competitors, in this emerging market and not everyone is making it.

Read the Fine Print

Be sure to read the fine print. Live Spaces has the same content policy as MySpace. Content you add is mutually owned by you and Microsoft. Just like MySpace.com, and some of the other social networking services, they can sell what you upload.
