PC Cassette Deck

I’ve been pushing a box of old cassettes around for the last couple of days while cleaning the house. Several times, I wondered what good they do me since I have completely surrendered to the digital age and don’t have a cassette player anymore. However, I just can’t bring myself to throw them out. A lot of the recordings are one-of-a-kind, made in someone’s living room or home studio. Some are recordings of a radio show a late friend of mine used to do. Things you just can’t replace. So I keep pushing the box around, wondering when the contents will ever see the light of day.

Which brings me to the PC cassette deck listed on ‘Think Geek’ which is just crazy enough to be really cool. It converts cassette tapes to into MP3 files and has a decent frequency response. If only it worked for Windows 2000 and the price were a little lower, I could almost justify it.
